Subsequently I held postdoctoral positions at the University of Florence, the European Laboratory for Non-linear Spectroscopy (LENS), the Italian National Institute of Optics (CNR-INO) in Florence, and the Instituto Superior T\u00e9cnico and Instituto de Telecomunica\u00e7\u00f5es in Lisbon. I obtained a Master degree in theoretical physics from University of Trieste (IT), and a PhD in Physics from University of Lisbon in 2018. Subsequently, I held post-doctoral positions at University of Lisbon, University of Luxembourg, and in the context of project QuReCo at the Italian National Institute of Optics, within the National Research Council (CNR-INO).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My research interests fall within the fields of open quantum systems, quantum information, quantum thermodynamics and quantum technologies. More specifically, my work has been focused on topics such as quantum non-Markovianity and its thermodynamic implications, the role of system-environment correlations, quantum thermal machines and the thermodynamic aspects of information processing from a fundamental perspective.
